31th Annual Friends of Bancroft Library Wreath Sale
It is that time of year again when you can decorate your home in holiday cheer and
support your local library at the same time. Funds benefit the Bancroft Library and its
programs. With the hard work and help of The Wreath Shop we are able to offer 2
decorating options this year.
*Wreath with burgundy or red ribbon $35
Orders are due by November 15th. Pick-up time will take place on Sunday, November
26th from 11-1:30 near Bancroft Library in the garage bays on West Broadway. Please

The Bancroft Public Library is seeking written proposals for the following project to be performed at the Bancroft/Proudfit Building at 181 S. Main Street, Salem, New York:
Supply and install three (3) Low-E, historically accurate, double-hung windows in the Library lobby. Install two (2) Low-E, thermal pane units on the interior of the stained-glass entrance transoms to the Library and Proudfit Hall. Supply and install two outside electrical outlets on the Main Street side of the building
All sealed bid proposals must be received by 6 PM on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at the Bancroft Public Library, 181 S. Main Street, P. O. Box 478, Salem, NY 12865. All sealed bids will be opened and read publicly at the November 12, 2024, Bancroft Public Library Board of Trustees meeting.
Specifications may be found at the Bancroft Public Library and on its website at https://www.bancroftlibrary.org/. The Board of Trustees of the Bancroft Public Library reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
